Part of Me

“Part of Me” is a compelling 18″ x 24″ framed mixed media painting on paper that masterfully explores themes of identity, heritage, and the duality of the self.

The artwork features a striking, split-face portrait. One half reveals a realistically rendered Black man with deep, expressive eyes and a reflective gaze. The other half transforms into a stylized, geometric mask adorned with bold, shimmering gold accents. This powerful juxtaposition beautifully symbolizes the deep connection between contemporary identity and ancestral roots.
